Bigger Than Ourselves

I'm learning as I am blessed with each new day in life how important it is to seek God's will and His alone.

Sure, there are things in life that I think I need or I think are best for me, but as I trust in His unfailing, perfect path for my life, I can step back and say with absolute faith that He has it worked out for me.

At this particular time in my life, remembering that His will is bigger than any will I can accomplish on my own, is so comforting. I marvel at His timing and His thinking and His doing rather than worry about what I can do.

And most of all, I find peace in watching my life unfold.

Is there still anger at times, anguish at times, fear at times...of course. But my hope and faith lies in nothing but God.

Where does your faith lie? Are you trying to achieve things that are much bigger than you? Remember who has your back, remember who's working your will, remember to rely on Him.

"16)Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from him who sent me. 17I)f anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. 18)He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him." John 7:16-18.
